Barcode types

I want to know what kind of barcode system or format will be accepted by elementaryPos app?

All standard barcodes should work: Code39, Code128, UPC, EAN, QR-Code...

Where to find these options of barcodes? and then how to select EAN-13 format? Thanks.

We use it for weighing scale. There should be unified configuration for the format of EAN13 barcode on both ends of your POS software and our scale, for a common example: prefix (2 digits) + PLU (5 digits) + Weight (5 digits) + checksum (1 digit).
Otherwise how your POS software decode the weight from the barcode.

Go to Elementary POS settings:
Menu->Settings-Barcode scanner settings->Decode weight from barcode.

If the barcode is EAN13 and starts with prefix 20, Elementary POS knows that it is a barcode with a weight.
After scanning, the sales item (PLU) and its weight are detected.
